Classic and trendy at the same time. The new it-bags from italian designer gain the love of celebrities and those who work in fashion business.
Her name is Sara Battaglia and her last name is well known among italian fashion lovers because her sister works as a fashion editor in Vogue. So the first to fall in love with her bags was the editorial staff.
Bags of Sara are classic and elegant but have a contemporary appeal because of the big leather stripes that are avaliable in lots of colours and even in multicolour version. They are produced in different forms and sizes so you can wear it in the office or take one with you to the cocktail party.
For now they are avaliable in Florence at Luisa Via Roma store but soon you'll be able to get one on the site of Sara Battaglia.

Last Sunday I went to the medieval celebration at Isola Dovarese, Cremona. I spend a great afternoon wondering through the stands with medieval dishes and handcraft pieces. And of course there were plenty of outfits to see. So have a look at the photos and take a trip back in time.

Miss Italia, Salsamaggiore Terme

Yesterday I went to the famous italian show called "Miss Italia". It's an annual beauty competition that takes place at Salsamaggiore Terme a small but picturesque town that is surrounded by wonderful green hills.Most of the girls were very beautiful and it was interesting to watch them dance, act and ...walk in the swim suite most of the time. It's not really the thing that I would usually like but once in a lifetime I wanted to see Miss Italia to understand better the modern italian culture.... And here are some photos for you from the show.
Вчера мне довелось побывать на конкурсе "Мисс Италия", который проходит каждый год в живописном маленьком городке Salsamaggiore Terme. Этот конкурс красоты очень популярен в Италии, можно сказать, что он стал частью современной культуры страны, именно поэтому мне захотелось вживую понаблюдать за этим действом. Шоу было организовано очень хорошо и, несмотря на то, что длилось оно 4 часа, зрители демонстрировали живой интерес ко всему происходящему. Кстати, я даже угадала победительницу!)) Day 01. Around Castell’Arquato
Morning
Transfer (1h30 min) on the air-conditioned Minibus from the airport of Milan (Malpensa) to the CASTELL’ARQUATO.
Arrival at Casa Illica Hotel.
Light lunch in the Middle Age town square at the ENOTECA COMMUNALE.
Afternoon
Orientation to become familiar with Castell’Arquato through the small picturesque streets.
Aperitif offered by Casa Illica
Dinner at the restaurant LA TAVERNA DEL FALCONIERE from where you can enjoy the panoramic view on the valley.

Day 02. Visit to the castle and wine tasting
Breakfast at Casa Illica.
Morning
Around 11:30 am visit to the CARDINALI vineyard located in the hills of Castell’Arquato, wine tasting and lunch.
Afternoon
15:00 Transfer by Minibus to the CASTELLO of GROPPARELLO: the visit of the castle is a trip back to the Middle Age. It will be followed by aperitif and dinner in the medieval “tavern” served in medieval costumes.

Day 03. Verdi, Stradivari and Parmesan
Breakfast at Casa Illica
Morning
Departure to BUSSETTO, birthplace of the famous Opera composer, Giuseppe Verdi. Visit of his birthplace (Roncole Verdi) and the Villa-museum where he spent the last years and it’s farm where are made the different types of salami and hams and the Parmigiano Reggiano.
Lunch on the premises featuring the different specialties of hams and salami, accompanied of rosè and white wine made according to the antique way (www.acpallavicina.com).
Afternoon
Trip to CREMONA, town of the world wide famous violin maker Stradivari. Visit to the cathedral and baptistery (1167) and the Stradivarius museum.
Return to Castell’Arquato.

Day 04. Shopping and relax at the Terme
Breakfast at Casa Illica
Morning
Visit to the outlet Fidenza Village**. 3 hours of shopping session with English speaking personal shopper.
Lunch at the Obikà restaurant at Fidenza Village.
Afternoon
Visit to the Salsamaggiore Terme, SPA treatments.
Dinner at ROCCA restaurant in Castell’Arquato.

Day 05. Visit to Parma
Breakfast at Casa Illica
Morning
Visit to PARMA: the Cathedral, the baptistery, the theater Reggio.
Lunch in one of the town’s restaurants.
Afternoon
Continuation of the visit.
Light Dinner at the PALAZZO DALLA ROSA PRATI, in the gallery of modern Art in the historical palazzo.
Return to Castell’Arquato.

Day 06. Day trip to Bologna

Morning
Departure by minibus to the train station in Fiorenzuola, then train to Bologna (1:30 min).
Guided visit of BOLOGNA, site of the oldest University in Europe, founded in the 11th century.
Private visit of the TORRE PRENDIPARTE (12th century) www.torreprendiparte.it
Afternoon
Lunch on the fifth floor of the Torre Prendiparte, tasting of the specialties “Bolognese”.
Return to Castell’Arquato.

Day 07. Departure
Breakfast at Casa Illica
Transfer to the airport Malpensa
